History

Mexico is the largest Spanish speaking country in the world. Mexico became independent country in 1821.
A war with USA in 1848 when Mexico lost almost half of its territory and then invasion by France in 1861 - 1867 left Mexico in struggling state. The Mexican Revolution in 1910-1921 and The Cristero War 1926-1929 deepend economic conditions of the country, however during the next four decades, Mexico experienced impressive economic growth. Today Mexico is a developing country but working really hard for the better future.
